History

CCDA was founded in 1997 with 10 enthusiastic performers. We provide an enjoyable and broadranging introduction to the performing arts, as well as the specialist training required when pursuing a career in these disciplines. You can choose ISTD examinations in Ballet, Tap Jazz and Modern
Theatre dance, or in house grading opportunities for all other genres.

We firmly believe in supporting your success, and offer as many opportunities as possible to perform, have fun and advance your dreams whilst enjoying yourself.

As well as the CCDA classical program, classes are available in Street Dance, Urban and Hip-Hop genres, musical theatre (acting, singing & dance), Contemporary Dance, Cheerleading and Acrobatic Arts are all supported by fitness, dance conditioning and progressing technique classes.

CCDA young leaders have the opportunity to develop this national qualification as we are an accredited Sports leaders qualifications centre.

“A fun place to learn to dance and perform where your success is our ambition.” – K-L Bates 2021
