Presentation Day

The presentation day show, normally held in early spring, gives all
members the opportunity to showcase their progress through ongoing
classwork, as well as take part in group choreographies, supporting the
entire academy’s performance.

Parents are then invited to watch the Annual Awards ceremony to
celebrate the achievements of all the CCDA students over the past year.
Awards are in age categories, highlighting the many skills and attributes
obtained while they progress in their dance journey. All nine genres are
recognised, as well as team spirit, support, camaraderie, progress, artistic
skills, musicality, potential, attendance, commitment, confidence development and examination success, the ceremony culminates with the
presentation of the highly regarded Dancer of the Year trophy!

Performance Opportunities Fairford Royal Air Tatoo

We give all our students the opportunity to broaden all their dance moves by working with guest current professionals from screen & stage during CCDA summer schools, bootcamps for musical theatre, cheer camps and workshop weeks.
The weeks are a fun part of the summer holidays, spent dancing, getting fit and making new friends. The Bootcamps also give another performance opportunity it’s stunning to see how much can be achieved in just one day, or at the end of a week-long project – they certainly sleep well too!

The Summer Workshop week – Guest teachers, broaden the student’s experience, culminating in a performance to friends and family at the end of each day.

The Musical Theatre Boot Camp – Held in a theatre this give students the opportunity to home their skills during the week and perform to a live audience at the end of it.
